Restaurant Vidrik is a joint project of three chefs, who particularly value vegetables and game meat. We also prefer traditional ways of flavouring and cooking food, for example, roasting over an open fire and in natural smoke.

Restaurant Vidrik is a joint project of three chefs, who particularly value vegetables and game meat. We also prefer traditional ways of flavouring and cooking food, for example, roasting over an open fire and in natural smoke.

As we are located in Sangaste, there is no way we could ignore rye, to which we try to give proper recognition by appropriately incorporating it in dishes by means of our novel approach.

We want to treat customers to honest authentic food of Estonian origin. Our dishes are simple, tasty and served in a modern way. However, the most important part is that the ingredients come from our environment, our home country.

In addition to good food, the location provides an opportunity to go for a stroll in the splendid von Berg Castle and enjoy the nature.
