Maiasmokk is the oldest café in Estonia: it has been operating without a break since its first opened its doors in 1864.
The café is open all year round:
Monday through Sunday 09:00-21:00
Marzipan room: Monday through Sunday 10.00-21.00
The history of this café, the oldest in Tallinn and, most probably, in entire country to operate without a break, dates back to 1864. What makes Maiasmokk unique is the interior on the first floor, which has remained almost unchanged for over a hundred years.
On any of the two floors of this café steeped in history, you can treat yourself to fresh pastries, pies and cakes made on the spot as well as delicious handmade chocolates and candy.
In addition, the second floor is where you can have a light meal if you want something more substantial: there is a menu of soups, salads and small main course dishes.
